A Chukka Caribbean Adventures representative will be on-hand at Player Registration to answer questions and reserve Non-Golf Guests' tour of choice from the options below.  All tours are subject to availability at time of booking.  Some tours will be offered in the afternoons and can be attended by both Non-Golfers and Players.  Special pricing will be extended to registered Players and Non-Golf Guests interested in experiencing additional tours.    


Horseback Ride ‘N Swim

Duration of tour: 2 Hrs

Minimum Age: 6 yrs

Weight Limit: 250 lbs

Chukka’s Horseback Ride ‘N Swim is located in the quaint fishing village of Sandy bay. Your adventure begins the moment you board the bus. Learn interesting facts about Jamaica’s second city and tourism capital, Montego Bay. At the farm, we await your arrival so we can truly show you why Chukka’s Horseback Riding is the best Horseback Riding Jamaica has to offer. You don’t have to be an experienced rider to enjoy our tour, our horses have been well-trained and our attentive guides will be there to assist all riders along the way.

Saddle up for this spectacular ride that will take you through a tropical rainforest then on to roam the Jamaican countryside. Then you will ride along a cliff and experience a panoramic view of the Jamaican coastline with a picturesque mountain in the backdrop, only in Jamaica!

Just when you thought you had experienced it all we take you to the edge where only at Chukka can you experience the warmth of the Caribbean Sea on horseback.

Take a drive on the wild side!

 

The only way to see Jamaica’s natural beauty, experience her culture, her history and diversity, is to take the Chukka Jeep Safari. We will take you through Jamaica’s rugged interior in a Safari-Themed 4X4 Land Rover. We will show you the real Jamaica with many a pit-stop to highlight Jamaica’s local culture including a stop at a former slave hospital converted into a church in 1846. Navigate Jamaica’s rocky terrain with your own personal guide/driver/bartender who will keep you intrigued with many stories and anecdotes about Jamaican life.

 

To top it all off we will take you on a once in a lifetime river walk through the tropical foliage, you will discover hidden waterfalls, slow flowing natural swimming pools; hear the birds, feel the natural mineral waters, smell the rainforest. This is the real Jamaica.



River Tubing

What better way to kick off Jungle River Tubing than to drive through the untouched jungle terrain of Jamaica’s interior?

 

Once you arrive you will be given an orientation complete with safety tips for the ride down the river. The adventure begins at the waters’ edge where you will be assigned your tube. Our attentive guides will introduce you to the real Jamaica with interesting commentary and information while navigating the rushing rapids of the Great River. This is your opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy Jamaica’s natural beauty as you go; watch flowing streams join the river and be sure to catch a glimpse of the many indigenous jungle animals in their natural habitat. Experience the rush, the excitement and the thrill brought on by the different moods of the Great River as she changes her pace along this magical, unspoiled thoroughfare.

If you like history, culture, cuisine, romance and scenic beauty, this is one of the most unforgettable experiences in Jamaica.  See the wonders of this 18th Century Great House which was once owned by the largest planter in Jamaica, John Thorpe.  Completely restored to its previous grandeur, the Good Hope Great House features the art, antiques and lush surroundings that once made it the Jewel of the Caribbean. 


Tour the grounds by horse drawn carriage, then take a short stroll along the Martha Brae River. Tour the Pottery Barn and Trading House, the only store of its kind in the Caribbean, where you can see resident artisans at work and purchase artwork, carvings, books, and other souvenirs made in Jamaica.
