Winding through the mountains of Jamaica's historic 5,000-acre Rose Hall Plantation, The White Witch Golf Course in Jamaica is carved out of 600 acres of lush greenery and rolling countryside that features panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea from 16 of its 18 holes.
Considered one of the finest golf courses in the Caribbean,White Witch was named by its creators, golf course architects Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril, after the 19th century beauty, Annie Palmer, who owned the sugar plantation on which the course stands. The par-71, 6,859-yard Championship layout is characterized by mountainous terrain, cool tradewinds, colorful foliage and spectacular ocean views from almost every hole. Each group is accompanied by the White Witch's world-famous Caddie Concierges, who expertly provide yardages, read greens, and other player service. Readers of TRAVEL + LEISURE GOLF magazine voted the White Witch and the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, the best golf resort in the Caribbean in 2006.
